An authentic Montessori kindergarten in Aljunied — nurturing curious, confident and independent children since 2003.

Established in 2003, Raffles Montessori (Aljunied) runs a full Montessori programme — individualised instruction, mixed-age grouping, a qualified directress, an international curriculum, and a complete set of specialised Montessori materials in a carefully prepared classroom.
Our mission is to deliver a well-rounded curriculum in a supportive environment that lets each child fully develop their own unique and beautiful set of gifts — at their own pace, and in their own way.

Each day, our children are empowered to make decisions in their learning journey. Through the Montessori approach, the child takes the lead — choosing the materials they wish to work with based on their own interest and ability, gently scaffolded by our teachers.
Early childhood is a time of constant discovery. We keep our classes small and our ratios low so every child is truly seen — giving our teachers the time to observe, guide and nurture each one individually.
A distinct feature of the Montessori classroom. Children aged 3–6 learn together at their own pace: the younger learn from the older, and the older consolidate their learning by guiding the younger — building empathy and leadership.

Our littlest learners are gently introduced to the Montessori approach in an environment prepared just for them — refining hand-eye coordination, attention span and motor skills, with language learnt through songs, stories and dramatisation.

Children move into the three-hour work cycle and the full range of Montessori materials. They are empowered to plan their own time, choosing the work that draws them — building deep concentration, independence and a genuine love of learning.
Explore the five carefully sequenced areas of our classroom — each with its own beautiful materials, each building on the last.

Practical life activities are based on actions a child observes in daily life — pouring water from a jug, scooping, buttoning, tying laces. Children recognise these tasks and relate them to what they see their families doing at home, building independence, coordination and concentration.
Experience our approach first-hand with a complimentary 2-day trial. Our teachers will share our pedagogy and the unique one-to-one time each child receives. Leave your details and we'll arrange a visit — and talk you through programmes and fees.
